The exhibition 'Kawaii - crafting the Japanese culture of cute' brought together 15 Japanese artists who are using traditional craft skills to translate, comment upon and engage with all aspects of Kawaii.

What is Kawaii? The culture of kawaii has many levels of meaning and the exhibition is an exploration of those meanings. The exhibition contains works that are humorous, beautiful and dark.
